‘Give what you can’ Counselling for Men

Stuck? Overthinking? Not Sure What To Do Next?
Stop going round in circles. Find a way forward.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is designed to help you understand what’s keeping you stuck, identify next steps and leave with greater clarity, confidence and a realistic plan — all in one focused 90-minute session.

Backed by Research

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is backed by decades of research. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses show it can improve wellbeing, confidence and resilience, with many people experiencing meaningful change after just one session.*

✓ Experienced BACP-accredited counsellor
✓ Evidence-based approach
✓ Donation based and affordable

Common reasons men book a session:

  • Stress, anxiety or low mood
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Bereavement or loss
  • Work pressures or feeling overwhelmed
  • Loss of confidence
  • Feeling stuck

Who Is It For?

For men aged 18 who want to improve their mental wellbeing, may have avoided counselling before, or need help finding a way forward.

Been struggling for years?

Don’t rule yourself out. Decades of research and clinical experience show that the length of time you’ve had a problem doesn’t necessarily determine how long it takes to begin making meaningful progress. One focused conversation may not  solve everything, but it can provide fresh perspective, renewed hope and a practical way forward.

What Happens During the Session?

Your confidential 90-minute online session takes place via Zoom and is delivered by an experienced counsellor accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

During the session, you’ll work to understand what’s keeping you stuck, identify practical ways forward and leave with greater clarity, confidence and realistic next steps.

Why Is The Service Donation-Based?

We believe professional counselling should be accessible to every man. Instead of charging a fixed fee, you choose a contribution that’s affordable for you: £20, £30, £40, £50 or £60. Making this a more affordable way to access professional support.

Your contribution helps cover the cost of your session while allowing helpu. to offer affordable counselling to more men across Wales.
